WebThe Mary Sue stereotype is common not just in Korean dramas but most Asian dramas. I think it's easier to root for a character that's like an underdog? Or someone we can relate? Though the bad stuff that happens to these Mary Sues are a bit far-fetched LoL. The thing that bothers me of certain second female leads is they're rarely nice.
